Technology concerns

I have conflicting views on the Einstein quote because of how immersed in technology society is and how some people may not use it to become smarter, but i also think there are people who will use the technology for knowledge.

Growing up i wouldnt say i had zero technology in my life but i definitely didnt have as much as some people did. I was raised on a ranch so i didnt have alot of time to sit down and play games, and as i got older i played sports so i had even less time for them.

To this day my mother gets angry at me and any of my siblings if we have our phones out at the table. She used to take them from us when we were younger if we had them out at the dinner table.

I cant really have an opinion on the baby that china produced, i dont know the specifics of what was changed and what affects it might have down the line of not just that childs life but down the lives of its decendets as well. It could stop genentic diseases and could make modern medicine leaps and bounds farther than where we are now.

As a whole i think technological advances have the opportunity to be extremely benificial towards the world and how medicine and other things are, but if we dont keep advancing and gaining more knowledge that wont happen.

  1. I won't say I had zero technology as well, but I did have some. To a point, I knew when I was spending too much time on technology, so I would go outside with friends and play.

  2. I agree with this post because we share a lot of the same view on technology and the fact that it doesn't have to be looked at as a distraction to social interaction. But an advanced look at interaction, and tool for more advanced discussions. I grew up personally with enough tech that it affected me, but my conversational skills didn't weaken from that.

  3. Technology both provides the convenience in life and learning sparks in the educational settings. We can see the bright side of technology when it shortens distances among people and facilitate learning; however, we also see how it changes the human social interactions gradually and even leads to the ethical issues. How teachers use the technology properly and efficiently in teaching will be a perspective they need to take into account.

  4. There are many things I agree with you on how china produced that baby I'm very skeptical about it too and I don't know how I feel about it. You do make a very good point though on how it could maybe have benefits in the medical field.
